Derde Symposium van het Landelijk Netwerk Vrouwelijke Hoogleraren (LNVH) zal plaatsvinden op 7 november 2008 te Amsterdam.
Workshop Creative Thinking: December 9th 2008
The Female Faculty Network Twente is inviting you to the workshop: “Creative thinking" by Anne Heleen Bijl followed by a Netwerkborrel.
In this active workshop you will learn about creative thinking and how to apply different thinking methods on questions you have in your work or research at the university or in daily life.
Fourth Conference of the FFNT: Thursday November 6th
On Thursday November 6th 2008 the fourth conference of the Female Faculty Network Twente will take place at the University of Twente. The theme of the conference is Hidden Treasures.

The Female Faculty Network Twente is inviting you to the lecture:“Women friendly work environment" by Loreta Vaicaityte, Human-in-organisations adviser of the UT, followed by a Netwerkborrel. Loreta will give a lecture on Women friendly work environment. Her interactive lecture comprises three basic parts: 1. Woman's pearls 2. Stumble-stones on the career road (Exercise + discussion) 3. "Restore the balance" solutions
Mentees Wanted
The UT is offering for the third time the opportunity to work on your career with the help of a mentor. A mentor is a professor or associate professor who is willing to support you in questions you have concerning strategies and actions in your career.
Women in Chemistry, Symposium

Cycling through the Dutch jungle: Thursday November 20th
The FFNT invites its members, who are in The Netherlands for longer than six months, and who are eager to exchange experience on living in The Netherlands and working at the University of Twente, to join us at the third round of the Cycling through the Dutch jungle meeting.
UT Stimuleringsfonds
The UT needs more women in top positions because diversity contributes to quality. One of the measures is additional funding for women working as a post doc or assistant professor to accelerate their career. The ambassadors network invites faculties to make proposals which contribute to promote more women to top positions.
