The Female Faculty Network Twente kindly invites you for our afternoon meeting on Thursday June 1th. At this meeting prof. dr. Marijk van der Wende will give a presentation. The topic of her talk will be the Dutch higher education system.

The Dutch higher education system is generally considered successful. Yet is has it's weak points. One is the remarkably low percentage of female professors. Is international mobility the solution?

The afternoon meeting will be held in the Faculty Club. Between 16.00 h and 16.30 h professor van der Wende will talk in de BLomzaal. Next to this presentation there is some time for an informal get-to-gether (borrel) in the Proffenbar.

Marijk van der Wende is professor Comparative Higher Education Policy Studies. She holds a chair in comparative higher education studies with special reference to the impact of globalisation and network technologies.
