Description:
The objective of this master thesis is to investigate and analyze social engineering attacks targeting different user categories in the post-COVID era using machine learning techniques. Social engineering attacks have become increasingly prevalent, and the COVID pandemic has created new opportunities and challenges for cybercriminals. This research aims to understand the evolving tactics employed by attackers and develop a machine learning-based approach to detect and mitigate social engineering attacks. The study will involve data collection, pre-processing, feature extraction, model training, and evaluation to achieve the research goals.
Requirements:
- Familiar with machine learning or deep learning techniques.
- Knowledge of Information Security
- Programming Languages like Python
