Description:

The research aims to understand human behaviour in cyber security and recognize and mitigate those human cyber security errors. For example, when an individual clicks on an unknown weblink even though he knows the consequences of clicking, opens an email, downloads document(s), stores passwords in easily accessible places, etc. The individual’s behaviour may develop a security risk for the organization and provide a lead to the hackers to attack the entire system. The focus of the research is to identify the drivers that motivated someone to exhibit such kind of behaviour, and also mitigate the risk by finding ways to change human behaviour unconsciously.
