Aim: This research project's goal is to examine the relationship between steganography and deepfake technology, comprehend its consequences, and propose effective countermeasures by developing a new tool that combines the concept of Deepfake and Image steganography. The project's objectives are to investigate the creation and detection of deepfake-steganography techniques, investigate the effects these techniques have on many areas, and provide countermeasures to their risks.

Requirements:

  • Understand the fundamentals of Deepfake technology.
  • Understand the fundamentals of Steganography and Steganalysis.
  • Familiar with Deepfake Generation tools like DeepFaceLab, and FSGAN (a few names).
  • Familiar with Steganography tools like OpenStego, StegHide, and Steganalysis tools such as StegExpose, and Alethia (a few names)
  • Machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Image processing libraries, e.g., OpenCV.
