Description:
Steganography is used to hide a secret message in a cover object. Text steganography is used when a cover medium is a text-based object, for example, hiding a secret message in an email, and a word file. Considering the activities of criminals in hiding malicious information in innocent text files, especially emails, and social media platforms, one needs to understand the concepts to need to know how it works so that we can save ourselves from steganalysis attacks. The project aims to do the literature on the existing text steganography techniques from the ancient to the currently existing techniques that also include the techniques that have been proposed by combining other domains like AI, NLP, etc. with text steganography. The author further presents the key features of each technique by describing the challenges/ limitations of the research world.
