Faizan Ahmed appointed Programme Director BIT

The Executive Board has appointed Faizan Ahmed for the position of Programme Director of BIT starting from 1 April 2024, for 5 year. We congratulate Faizan on this crucial role, and wish him success! 

I am honoured to lead the Business Information Technology program, especially at a time when our recent audit has highlighted both our strengths and areas for growth. Drawing on these insights, my aim is to modernise the curriculum and introduce a future-proof assessment mechanism, ensuring our students are equipped for tomorrow's tech landscape. This effort will be a collaborative endeavour to elevate our program's relevance and excellence.

Faizan Ahmed

Faizan Ahmed joined the University of Twente as a lecturer in February 2020. During his tenure at UT, he has focused on teaching and curriculum development, coordinating courses and modules for the computer science program. He also served on the exam board for BIT and was the chairperson of the examination board before taking the position of interim program director in October 2023.
