Meike Nauta is a student who graduated in our Computer Science programme. On August 29th, she defended her master thesis entitled "Temporal Causal Discovery and Structure Learning with Attention-Based Convolutional Neural Networks". She obtained her graduation with the distinction "cum laude", which is only awarded to students with outstanding grades throughout their study and in their thesis. Even more exceptional is that her master thesis was awarded the grade 10, which means that she belongs to the top 5%. Meike’s master project was supervised by dr. Christin Seifert, dr.ir. Maurice van Keulen and dr. Doina Bucur. Meike continues her research as a PhD student in our group within the research theme "Explainable Machine Learning".
