We are working on a platform that allows us to make engineering heart tissues (EHT). This platform combines biology, microfabrication technics and image processing. Our next step is to include mechanical stimulation to the 3D cardiac tissues to improve the cardiomyocytes alignment and performance.
You will be in charge of
- Re-design the platform to allow mechanical stimulation
- Design a control system to mechanically stimulate the tissues with a high level of precision.
- Evaluate the effect of the mechanical stimulation on the 3D cardiac tissues
