Join the sounding board!

Join the LMS Sounding Board Group

UT is preparing the tender process for a new Learning Management System (LMS). Because this system will affect teaching, learning and support across the university, we want to involve staff and students at certain moments in the process. We are therefore setting up a sounding board. This group will advise the project team throughout the tender. You’ll be invited roughly once every two months to contribute to a specific activity, and you can decide which ones you join.

We are looking for around 30 participants from across UT (students, lecturers, study advisers, programme coordinators, and e-learning specialists) to have a good mix of perspectives.

What does participation look like?

At different stages of the project, you may be invited to:

  • Join a workshop to review or test proposed LMS processes
  • Provide input via a short survey
  • Review draft requirements and wishes
  • Help shape use cases for the tender
  • Attend and give feedback on supplier demonstrations

The sounding board has an advisory role. Final decisions are made by the project team and steering committee. Your input will be used to validate choices. When it comes to assessing supplier demonstrations, your feedback will explicitly be included in the evaluation.

First activity: Lunch workshops in March

We will start with a series of lunch workshops in March. These sessions are a first opportunity to contribute and exchange perspectives. The exact content will be determined by the project team, but the focus will be on key themes related to the future LMS.

One session will be organised specifically for students. The other four are intended for lecturers and interested colleagues. You can register for the sounding board and sign up for one of the lunch workshops via the registration form below. If you would like to contribute to the selection of a new LMS (without committing to a large time investment) we hope you’ll consider joining.

Apply below!

If you also want to join one of the lunch meetings as a (future) member of the sounding board, indicate so below.
