VACANCY: ECIU Student Ambassador @ ut
Are you ready for a unique opportunity to represent UT within a network of European universities? Here's what you can look forward to:
* Travel twice a year as Lead Ambassador;
* Organise local activities to showcase all that ECIU has to offer to your fellow students;
* Meet students from 12 different European universities;
* Work on exciting group projects, tackling topics from increasing student numbers in ECIU University to international education.
Your responsibilities as an Ambassador: engage in online meetings with all other ECIU University Ambassadors across Europe, share experiences/best practices with others, collaborate with university staff and help build the ECIU University, a new model of European University education, and organising local ECIU University activities and represent the consortium at events like the Kick-In or Let’s GO Abroad Fair.

Lead Ambassadors
If you’re up for a bigger challenge, you also have a chance to become one of the two Lead Ambassadors at UT. Our two lead ambassadors have some extra responsibilities, but they also get a few extras: Travel twice a year (in December, see below, and in June for the ECIU University Forum), and together with the Lead Ambassadors of the other universities, you’ll get leadership training days in December 2025, which are about training you for the leading Ambassador role you’ll need to do, and involve a lot of teambuilding with the other Ambassadors.
In turn, as Lead Ambassador, you also:
* Are the main contact person for the local Community Coordinator
* Lead/coordinate the group of ECIU Student Ambassadors
* Organise Ambassador training for the ECIU@UT Student Ambassadors
* Coordinate the organisation of the local activities and stands
* Help recruit and mentor the next ECIU University student ambassadors
What’s in it for you?
Everything that’s mentioned in the previous “What’s in it for you”, plus: Mobility grant: Covering travel and accommodation for the two annual in-person meetings, and a Sudent Leadership Development Program Training, a unique chance to participate in this training programme during one of the physical meetings.
Application Details:
Submit a short application, you are free to do this in any form you want. For example: a short video (maximum 1.5 minutes), a short motivation letter (maximum half A4), or a poster, Powerpoint, or anything else you can use to introduce yourself. Please include at least your name, year of study and study programme. Tell us about your motivation to become an ECIU ambassador, your passions, and interests. Please indicate whether you would want to be one of the Lead Ambassadors or not. Convince us why you are one of the next ambassadors!

Selection Procedure:
Two ECIU Staff members and one of the current Student Ambassadors will be the selection committee. There will be one round of interviews, after which the committee will decide who will become the new Student Ambassadors and the two Lead Student Ambassadors.
