The University of Twente has quite an extensive art collection. It was partly formed by a gift from the state at the end of the BKR (Fine Art Regulation) period, partly through the acquisition of works of art by the university itself and finally through the offer to acquire a large number of works from the art collection of Paul Citroen. This makes it a collection with very diverse work due to its different origins.
The challenge of this exhibition is to investigate how such a diverse collection could be brought together coherently by means of 'art walls'.
Come and admire the collection between 7 April and 29 June in the large exhibition room in the Vrijhof. The room is freely accessible within opening hours of the Vrijhof.
