Areas of expertise

Research interests and knowledge on artifacts and urban movements; social studies of science, technology and development; extractivism, rural development and environment; social appropriation of knowledge, Regional Innovation Systems, Modernity/Coloniality/Decoloniality and Social Construction of Technology. Recently is interested on the relationships between extractivism, STI policies and National Innovation Systems.

Development Interdisciplinary Studies, Universidad de Los Andes (2012-2015) and B.S. in Anthropology & Minor in Law (2002 – 2007). Professional with over eight years of experience in governmental administrative, roles, public and private research, and consulting.
