(more information: n.e.j.oudshoorn@utwente.nl; i.j.h.maathuis@utwente.nl)
This workshop aims to create a platform for healthcare professionals, philosophers, social scientists and technicians to discuss the results of the research project Telecare at Home, funded by the NWO program Responsible Innovation. In this research project an interdisciplinary team has developed different perspectives to better understand and reflect on the development and use of telecare devices for chronic patients. During the workshop we will discuss how the insights of this project can be used to improve the (ethical) assessment of emerging telecare technologies and to contribute to responsible innovation.
