Summary
The project is a comprehensive impact study of the Erasmus Mundus program at its 20-year mark, aiming to assess its transformative effects on individuals, higher education institutions, and countries within and beyond the European Union over the past two decades. The study provides a historical overview of Erasmus Mundus's evolution and offers a detailed analysis of its broad impact on all involved actors. It examines the programme's effects at the European, national, and global levels, leading to a forward-looking exploration of its future. The study combines historical data from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) with primary data from two surveys, enriched with insights from workshops, interviews, and consultations with over 165 experts at various levels of the programme.
