Description:
In this project a blended smoking cessation treatment was developed for outpatients in Dutch hospitals. In a non-inferiority trial effectiveness is compared to the traditional face-to-face treatment. In the blended treatment 50% of active ingredients and number of counseling sessions is replaced by online sessions with e-mail guidance. The project also focuses on adherence to blended care, and explore predictors of high adherence and early drop-out.
