HEInnovate
Ben Jongbloed is part of the expert group for the HEInnovate project led by Technopolis for the European Commission (DG Education and Culture). His role is to provide strategic advice on the direction for this project and to update the case studies that are part of the HEInnovate resource base.
HEInnovate offers a guiding framework that provides inspiration and assistance for governments and higher education institutions aiming to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship. It includes an online self-assessment tool covering seven dimensions of the 'entrepreneurial university'.
HEInnovate was developed collaboratively by the Directorate-General for Education and Culture (DG EAC) of the European Commission and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) LEED Programme.
