There are different modes of associating with CHEPS for your PhD project.
For individual PhD students, the BMS faculty charges a fee of up to 10,000 Euro for the total PhD trajectory. The decision about the amount and terms of the fee, as well as possible waivers, will be taken by the Dean of the faculty. Candidates may seek funding from national or international sources. The UT web page on grants and scholarships may help find options; CHEPS supports its accepted PhD candidates in their grant or scholarship applications.
In some CHEPS projects, special arrangements have been made with respect to PhD students and their fees. AiOs from the University of Twente and staff members from other institutions with which we have a special agreement may be exempted from fees.
