Location of MME2010 | | Enschede can be reached within 2 hours by train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. It lies at the border with Germany, in the region of Twente, which is famous for its landscape, friendly people, and of course the Grolsch beer.
Enschede is home of the University of Twente, which is with 8.000 students a middle sized university with a strong emphasis on technology.
The town of Enschede has a plenitude of shops, theaters, museums, galleries, restaurants, pubs and sunny terraced cafes all within walking distance.
The conference will be held at the newly constructed Nationaal Muziekkwartier, (in the Atak-music-center to be more exact) which has excellent facilities for an informal conference, and is surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars. The Muziekkwartier is conveniently located next to the main train station and has ample parking facilities.
