Hans Kanger


-Short Biography-

Johannes S. Kanger (1968) received the M.Sc. degree (1992) in applied physics and the Ph.D. degree (1996) from the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the field of biomedical optics and noninvasive diagnostics. Since 1999, he has been working in the nanobiophysics group at the University of Twente as a senior scientist in cell biophysics and advanced microscopy. His main interests are magnetic tweezers, optical tweezers,cell biophysics, and optical biosensors.
