From 2006 to 2010, Hainan Zhang studied in Hebei University of Engineering in China, majoring in Applied Chemistry and received her bachelor degree in July, 2010.
Following graduation, she was admitted to the Gachon University in Korea, studying as a Master student in the Department of BioNano Technology from 2010 to 2012. In August, 2012, she received her master degree with a topic of Fabrication of plastic microfluidic device and its application for on chip valve free sample purification.
In the same year, she started her PhD study in MCS group at University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands, on a project entitled “ultrasense NMR”. The goal of this project is to develop hyperpolarisation equipment and strategies based on both physical and chemical principles. It will supply a new diagnostic services and a molecular diagnostic test, using ultrasensitive microfluidic and continuous flow technology and equipment.
