Elizaveta Vereshchagina, PhD

Resume

Elizaveta Vereshchagina was born in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) in 1984. She received her Engineer Degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Components of Electronics in 2007 (Saint-Petersburg State Electrotechnical University “LETI”, Russia). She continuied her study in Finland and received her Master Degree in Technical Physics on developing solid state ferroelectric nanocooler in 2007.

In September 2007 she started her PhD degree on University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, on a project entitled Super Low Power Hot-Surface Silicon Devices for Chemical Sensors and Actuators. Her goals are the development of the catalytic sensor devices based on silicon and investigation of its chemical and microfluidic properties.
