Regine van der Hee (1968) did her bachelor in Biochemistry at Hogeschool Heerlen and a master in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Free university of Amsterdam where she continued working for several years on the effect of drugs and free radical scavenging followed by two years of HPLC work at Stanford Research Institute (SRI) in Menlo Park, CA, USA. In 2000 she joined Unilever R&D in Vlaardingen studying food digestion and absorption (bioavailability) in vitro using high throughput systems, enzymes and cell studies but also directing human trials.
In November 2010, she joined the Biomolecular NanoTechnology group as a technician where she is among other things responsible for cell culture & ML-1 labs, FPLC, Mass spectrometry, the CCMV virus stock and (ultra)centrifuges.
