It is not allowed to change the core courses, unless you have an explicit advice from your study adviser to do so.

The profile Water management uses courses of 7.5 EC. This means that when you choose this profile, you will have 65 EC on your diploma supplement. It does not mean you can leave out a core course or use less time for your thesis.

Although we do not recommend it because we cannot give you a profile on your diploma, a mix and match of courses in the profile space is not explicitly forbidden.

The thesis will always be 25 EC. When you work on your thesis more extensively depends on the chosen profile, see the Q (Quartile) numbers in the tables.

Transitional arrangements:

Students that are participating in cohort 2015 and especially those that started in February, can follow their own programme as to be found in the 2015-2016 study programme. The course Public Sector Reform will be given in an extensive format for those students only. Students that start this academic year are advised to use the new model with profiles, because the profiles end up in a better visible way on their diploma, simplifying the task of making clear what you learned.
