P-NUT Winterberg Ski Trip 2018
YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE FIRST-EVER P-NUT SKIING TRIP TO WINTERBERG (GERMANY) AND EXPERIENCE THE REAL WINTER HOLIDAY FEELING.
This one-day trip will be organized on Tuesday the 23rd of January. We will depart from the UT campus at 5:45am in two 8-person vans. The expected time of arrival in Winterberg is 8:30am, which gives people who need to rent equipment sufficient time to do so before the lifts open at 9:00am.
The participation fee for this event is €30. Included in this participation fee is transport from and to the UT, and a full-day ski ticket, which at its own already costs €35. The €30 participation fee needs to be transferred to the P-NUT bank account before Monday January 15th (cancelation deadline).
If you need to rent ski equipment, this can be done on-site, but of course will introduce additional costs. These costs are not reimbursed by P-NUT and at the participants own expense. Renting a full kit costs +/- €20. More information can be found here.
Please keep in mind that we cannot influence the weather and are depending on snow. Although Winterberg has several snow canons to generate artificial snow, it might not be possible to ski at the selected date. In that case, the event will be canceled and pre-paid participation fees will be refunded.

Cost information:
- €30 for transport and ski ticket
- Optional: ski rental (+/- €20 for complete set)
Participation information:
- Only P-NUT members can participate in the event
- If you are not yet a member, you can become one during registration
- Maximum 16 participants (two 8-person vans)
- If the maximum amount of participants is reached, people can sign in to a waiting list and will be informed whether they still can join one week prior to the event the latest

- End skiing: +/- 17:00
- Return: 20:00 @UT
Additional information:
- Cancellations should be made before Monday January 15th, otherwise there will not be a refund of the €30 participation fee.
- P-NUT is not responsible for any harm during this trip and only arranges travels and buys the ski ticket.
