INASCON, the INternational NAnoscience Student CONference, is a conference for students and young researchers, organized by students. During the conference, participants from whole Europe, irrespective of nationality and University, have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas, expand their network, stay up-to-date about ongoing research, and possibly start new projects and (international) collaborations.
INASCON 2018 will be the 12th edition. This year it will be held in Trondheim, Norway from the 7th to the 10th of August. The organizer of the conference is Timini, the student association for nanotechnology at NTNU. BSc, MSc, and PhD students or even Postdocs in the fields of nanotechnology and nanoscience should join the conference as INASCON 2018 is going to offer inspiring speakers, including Sofie Snipstad. She has won the ”Scientist grand prix 2016” with her bubbly nanomedicine against cancer. Besides learning from state-of-the-art research, INASCON is also the place to be to socialize with other students, young researchers, research groups and industry in order to make new contacts and start collaborations in all fields of nanotechnology and nanoscience.
The registration opens the 16th of February. If you have questions regarding INASCON or the delegation going from Enschede to Trondheim, please contact Henk-Willem Veltkamp (alumnus of MSc-Nanotechnology and chair of INASCON 2016) via firstname.lastname@example.org.
