Preventing and detecting plagiarism – job aid BMS faculty
As a lecturer, you can take various steps to make students less inclined to copy from others. There are also tools that you can use to detect plagiarism. How to prevent plagiarism? What are signals? What action can you take? How you can check assignments in Blackboard?

For University Twente lecturers: Ephorus is used to prevent and detect plagiarism. Students are less likely to commit plagiarism if they know that their work will be checked by a plagiarism detection tool, and if they do, Ephorus will let you know.
