Kim E.M. Evers, MSc.
In 2015, Kim graduated with a Master’s degree on Educational Science and Technology. Her thesis was concerned with defining and measuring university teachers’ attitudes towards a recently implemented educational model.
She currently works as a junior researcher at the Centre for Science Education and Talent Development (University of Twente). Her focus in research is on measuring attitudes. One of her research projects is about the early exclusion of (science) professions due to stereotypical professional images and the attitude of children, parents and teachers towards science. The other research project concerns beta citizenships. It is about the awareness of children of worldwide developments (urbanization, green house effect, water shortage, et cetera) and the commitment/responsibility they feel to make a positive contribution to the resolution of these developments in their future (professions).
