On Thursday 3 November, MIRA will host the MIRA day 2016. The MIRA day is for and by MIRA’s researchers.
Invited professors will give a keynote lecture in the field of each of MIRA’s research themes: Imaging and Diagnostics, Neural and Motor Systems and Bionanotech and Advanced Biomanufacturing.

- Dr. Marleen de Bruijne, Medical image analysis, Erasmus MC Rotterdam and University of Copenhagen, Denmark
- Prof.dr.ir. Harrie Weinans, Orthopedics and dept. Rheumatology, UMC Utrecht and Biomechanical Engineering, TU Delft
MIRA’s PhD students and postdocs will present their research in:
- 20 oral presentations in parallel sessions
- 30 posters presentations
Winner of the poster prize will be determined by scores of PhD students and staff members.
There will be plenty of opportunity to network during the breaks, and the day will end with drinks and dinner.
