Nanotechnology is the branch of knowledge that is engaged in the
extremely minute; the scale of a few atoms and molecules. The nano-world is
fascinating because at this scale materials suddenly take on surprising and
completely novel properties. This page provides all kinds of information about educational
programmes focused on Nanotechnology.
Here we provide information on the nanotechnology master’s
programme; a programme that takes you into the world of the extremely
minute. This programme can be followed by students who have completed a
technical bachelor’s degree programme.

Nanotechnology. Students can be
enrolled in the School in the MSc phase or PhD phase. The MESA+ School for
Nanotechnology is funded in 2010 and encompasses all MESA+ research groups. In
2011 this School obtained a graduate programme block grant from the Dutch
organization for scientific research (NWO). The
MESA+ School for Nanotechnology involves the following programmes: Advanced
Optics, Nanodevices & Systems, Novel Nanomaterials, Fluid Physics and Next Generation Energy and Resources.
