UT in the media
The External Communication department maintains active and passive contact with the press as a means enhancing the UT's visibility and profile. Each day the press report service, Meltwater, makes a compilation of any articles on subjects that appear in the digital media (national/regional newspapers and websites, professional journals, magazines, blogs, etc.). Staff and students of the UT can sign up to receive receive a new newsletter containing the news results about the University of Twente derived from more than 200,000 national and international digital news sources.
For an overview of the highlights from media reports in (mainly Dutch) newspapers, magazines, radio and television, you can visit the www.utwente.nl/mediaoverzicht website. This site is updated weekly.
Interested in receiving a summary of UT in the media?
Would you like to receive an e-mail containing a summary of news items over the UT? There are two options:
· Google Alerts: A Google service that allows you to filter according to key words, type of source (news or elsewhere on internet), in order to find out where a given subject has made it into the media, e.g. using the key words ‘nanotechnology’ or ‘university of Twente’. · The daily or weekly press report service of the UT's Meltwater, containing the news results about the University of Twente derived from more than 200,000 national and international digital news sources.
