Spam e-mail tag so they are disclosed to our spam filter (note: this only works for externa e-mails which are not send from utwente.nl).
Stap 1: Double click on the e-mail you want to report
Stap 2: Click in this e-mail ‘File’ on top left
Stap 3: Click in the middle at the bottom of the page ‘Properties’
Stap 4: A new popup will appear with at the end ‘Internet headers’
Stap 5: Select the content of ‘Internet headers’ (ctrl + a, ctrl + c, or right mouse button ‘copy’)
Stap 6: Open a program Word or Wordpad and paste the text (ctrl + v or right mouse button ‘paste’)
Stap 7: In this ‘paste’ text 4 rules are shown with website links
X-Antispam-Training-Forget: Through this URL it is possible to let the SURFmail filter forget everything it has learned about this e-mail.
X-Antispam-Training-Nonspam: Through this URL it is possible to tell the SURFmail filter that the judgement of the e-mail spam was incorrect.
X-Antispam-Training-Phish: Through this URL it is possible to tell the SURFmail filter the e-mail is a phishing e-mail. The difference with this URL is that you need to do more actions. If the e-mail contains a link, you have to put a check mark on the phishing link (s) (also called URL) to learn the SURFmail filter to recognize the link(s).
X-Antispam-Training-Spam: Through this URL it is possible to tell the SURFmail filter the e-mail is spam.
Stap 8: Paste the corresponding link in your web browser and visit the link. You should see a message that should look something like the following:
