UT authors can now publish Open Access at no additional cost
Due to new big deals with publishers Elsevier, Springer and Wiley, University of Twente authors can now publish Open Access (OA) at no additional cost in 141 Elsevier journals in the Nature and Health domains, in almost 1,700 Springer journals in the Springer OpenChoice programme (with the exception of titles from learned societies, BioMedCentral and SpringerOpen; 15% discount on BioMedCentral’s OA journals), and in Wiley’s 1,400 hybrid journals (if the corresponding author is affiliated with the University of Twente and chooses to make the article OnlineOpen).
The VSNU offers more information on the big deals with Elsevier, Springer and Wiley. The VSNU is still negotiating with SAGE, Oxford University Press, Taylor & Francis, the American Chemical Society, and Kluwer about new big deals that stimulate OA publishing.
