Research

Research topics include:

1.    Decision-making under incomplete information
2.    Heterogeneous preferences and beliefs in the socio-economic environment
3.    The link between micro-level decision-making, social interactions and macro level phenomena
4.    Provision of public and private goods and services.

At LSEB we employ a range of empirical research methods with a strong focus on experiments to advance scientific knowledge about the above-mentioned research topics.

LSEB is a team of economists from different research institutes who work together in an inspiring research environment, thereby strengthening the economics research profile of the University of Twente. LSEB seeks to enhance capacity development by collaborating with and including researchers from developing countries, so as to inspire and educate young researchers.
