PROF. DR. ELLEN GIEBELS WINNER OF 2012 JEFFREY Z. RUBIN THEORY-TO-PRACTICE AWARD
This week it is announced that prof. dr. Ellen Giebels, Full Professor of Social Psychology of Conflict and Safety received the prestigious Rubin Award. The Rubin Award is co-sponsored by the International Association of Conflict Management (IACM) and the Harvard program on Negotiation. The Rubin award is a bi-annual reward that highlights scientists with a strong research profile who are able to apply this knowledge to complex societal problems. Ellen Giebels is the first recipient of the Rubin Award from outside North-America. She will receive the award officially this summer during the IACM-conference in South Africa, where Nobel laureates Tutu and Lehmann will also be speakers.
