Kick-off meeting for 3TU.H&T

You are cordially invited to join us on April 16 the kick off meeting of the new 3TU Centre for Humans and Technology, which will be held in the DesignLab at the University of Twente.

The centre aims to promote collaborations between the three technical universities in the Netherlands in the area from Human-Machine Interaction, making our research and activities on this topic visible internationally.

We will work together towards a research agenda for the field. As well as research, we will also focus on the possibilities for having the education programmes at Bachelors and PhD level on these thems. The centre aims to facilitate the exchange between students and teachers and will organise a courses and a summer school for PhD students.

The aim of the opening on April 16 is to learn more about the diverse research groups that work on Human and Machine Interaction in the 3TUs, explore new cooperation opportunities, and to discuss plans for the research and education agenda related to the centre. Around these subjects we will organise a number of break-out sessions. We also ask whether you have one or more posters that you would like to present that can describe your research during the poster presentations.

Provisional programme:

12:00 arrival and lunch

13:00 introduction to the 3TU.H&T

13:30 break-out sessions

15:30 feedback

16:00 borrel and poster presentations
