The Female Faculty Network Twente is inviting you to a workshop:
Motivation
on Wednesday 20th of June from 10:00 till 17:00 hrs. in building the Drienerburght.
How to motivate your students? How to intervene in (student-) work groups that are uninterested or make too little progress?
How come that she doesn't want to participate in the research that I'm so passionate about?
In the workshop we will explore what motivates us and how we can motivate others. We'll work with a few tools to help us in these processes, such as the model for situational leadership and a model for motivation, based on the work of Viktor Vroom. The workshop will be interactive, short lectures, group discussions, exercises and simulations. After this workshop you will be more conscious in your facilitation of new and starting workgroups. You will have tools to address a person's motivation for a task and you will no longer fall into the first pitfall of motivation: You will be motivated, because I am!
The trainer for this workshop is Franke Jongsma, educational consultant at N.V. KEMA in Arnhem. This workshop was also given in co-operation with Studium Generale.
