The Facility Service Center has a contract with Asito for cleaning services throughout the campus. The contract is performance oriented, a so-called output contract. For each area, category cleaning standards are determined. The cleaning organization is required to deliver the quality as stated in the contract. The ways they reach the determined standards is the responsibility of Asito. Within the determined preconditions, it is up to Asito to assess in what manner and how often certain areas need to be cleaned. The principle is that areas meet the predetermined cleaning standards. The cleaning organization has to adapt to different uses and pollutions of areas.

The following conditions are mentioned in the contract:

Regular cleaning of offices, sanitation, educational rooms, refreshment services, laboratories, circulation areas and remaining rooms (daily and periodic cleaning)

§

Approximate estimate for cleaning high placed dust (above 2m)

§

Approximate estimate for extra cleaning service during information and introduction days

§

Cleaning glass

§

Service tasks

§

Extra service, for standard payment rates

§

Rental of sanitary supplies (towel machines, soap dispensers, toilet paper machines, etc.)

§

Materials (toilet paper, plastic bags, etc.)

Six times a year an external consultancy performs a quality check to see whether the cleaning standards are met.
