RULES FOR DECORATIONS AND FIRE PREVENTION WORLD CUP 2010

With the World cup 2010 coming up, a lot of workstations are being decorated to support teams. Considering fire safety make sure you follow the rules:

1.

Usage of open fire near decorations is forbidden.

2.

Decorations are to be of fire slowing quality, preferably certified. Flamable fabrics have to be impregnated in order to make it more difficult for them to catch fire.

3.

Fabric decorations are not permitted in the hall- or stairways, but only in occupied zones.

4.

Decorations in the form of flags, parachutes, mascottes, cloths and so on are not permitted to hang horizontally from the ceiling.

5.

Cloths and decorations have to be placed at least 50 centimeters away from heat sources such as lighting.

When decorations do not meet the above mentioned standards, Arbo working conditions and environmental regulations officers and building caretakers will remove them.
