Steven te Brinke received his Master’s degree in Computer Science with honours at the University of Twente in 2011. After his graduation, he started working as a PhD student on the ENOFES Project (Energy Optimization Framework for Embedded Systems). This project aims at addressing the software design challenges that arise when incorporating optimization algorithms into software. As part of this research, we are designing a programming language, called Co-op, offering first-class composition techniques.

His research interests include software architectures, software composition and software language design. See also his publications.

Steven likes speed skating, both long track and marathon, sailing, especially on the Wadden Sea, running, cycling and hiking.
