Ramen Dutta received BE degree from Bengal Engineering College, India in 2002. From 2002 to January 2006 he worked at Pulse-core Semiconductor Pvt. Ltd. (which is formerly known as Alliance Semiconductor). He did MS (by research) in Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2008. From August 2008 to February 2009 he worked for a semiconductor company Kawasaki microelectronics Inc, India brunch. From March 2009 he is working towards the Ph.D. degree on the subject of low power transceiver design for wireless sensor network at the University of Twente at the IC-design group headed by Bram Nauta, at the Short Range Radio group under Mark Bentum and at the Computer Architectures for Embedded Systems group headed by Gerard Smit.

Research activities

The Ph.D. work of Ramen Dutta is part of the project ’Real Time Enterprise Sensor Networks for Transport and Logistics compatible with Energy Harvesting’.
