PhD student Tian Gang together with three other PhD researchers at the University of Twente have received the Chinese Government Award for outstanding Chinese PhD researchers studying abroad in the year of 2009. Chinese PhD researchers who did distinguished research abroad and are important for the technological and scientific development of China are nominated for this award. The awards have been handed at the Chinese embassy in The Hague in July of this year.
Tian Gang is currently doing his PhD project entitled "Inorganic-organic hybrid electronics" in the NanoElectronics Group of MESA+ under the supervision of Prof. Wilfred van der Wiel."
