  • 3rd Workshop on Graph Computation Models (GCM 2010)

    Description:
    The aim of the International Workshop GCM2010 is to bring together researchers interested in all aspects of computation models based on graphs and graph transformation techniques. It promotes the cross-fertilizing exchange of ideas and experiences among researchers and students from the different communities interested in the foundations, applications, and implementations of graph computation models and related areas. Previous editions of GCM series were held in Natal, Brazil (GCM2006) and in Leicester, UK (GCM2008).

  • 4th International Workshop on Graph-Based Tools (GraBaTs 2010)

    Description:
    The International Workshop on Graph Based Tools aims at continuing the GraBaTs series of workshops that serve as a forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the development and application of graph-based tools. It is the purpose of this workshop to summarize the state of the art of graph-based tool development, bring together developers of graph-based tools in different application fields and to encourage new tool development cooperations.

  • 4th Workshop on Petri Nets and Graph Transformations (PNGT 2010)

    Description:
    PNGT serves as a forum for all researchers and practitioners interested in an exchange of ideas, notions, techniques between the fields of Petri nets and graph transformations, two prominent specification formalisms of concurrent and distributed systems. The close correspondence between the two models has naturally led to a mutual influence. For instance, several approaches to the concurrent semantics of graph transformation systems as well as techniques for their analysis and verification are strongly influenced by the corresponding theories and constructions for Petri nets. Classical Petri net models have been integrated with graph transformation systems, e.g., in order to define rule-based changes in the net structure. This serves both for a stepwise refinement of Petri net models or for the specification of dynamically reconfiguring nets. Interesting connections exist with extensions of Petri net models with dynamic topologies, or with notions of Petri net module or component. Graph transformation systems are also used for the development, the simulation, or animation of various types of Petri nets, e.g., via the the definition of visual languages and environments.

  • Workshop and Tutorial on Natural Computing (WTNC 2010)

    Description:
    Natural Computing is a research area concerned with computing taking place in nature and with human-designed computing inspired by nature. It is a fast growing, genuinely interdisciplinary field involving, among others, biology, mathematics and computer science. The aim of the International Workshop and Tutorials on Natural Computing WTNC 2010 is to provide a high-level scientific forum for the researchers in the various branches of Natural Computing, and to bring closer the research communities on Natural Computing and on Graph Transformations. This is the 4th event in this series of meetings, with previous editions held in Barcelona, Spain (with ICGT 2002), Rome, Italy (with ICGT 2004), and Leicester, UK (with ICGT 2008).

  • Doctoral Symposium

    Description:
    Young researchers (who completed their doctoral studies within the past 2 years) and PhD students interested in the foundations and applications of graph transformation will have the opportunity of presenting their work in a few dedicated technical sessions of ICGT2010. This will give them a unique opportunity to interact with established researchers of the graph transformation community. Presentations will be selected on the basis of submitted three-pages abstracts by the Program Committee of ICGT2010 according to their originality, significance, and general interest. Selected authors of presentations will be invited to submit a full paper for the refereed post-proceedings of the symposium.
