Welcome to Interaction Technology

Interaction Technology (I-Tech) is a Master's programme of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. The programme is taught entirely in English and highlights the interaction between people and technology. The I-Tech programme aims at creating impact by envisioning, designing and evaluating cutting edge technology that takes into account the complexity of human lives and environments.

I-Tech has allowed me to tailor my Master to suit me best when I was struggling to find something I liked. Now I do a combination of software, hardware, prototyping and design; all skills I'd love to keep developing in the future!

One of the best things about following HCID here at the University of Twente is being in a very entrepreneurial and high tech environment. While studying, you’re always stimulated to keep on ideating and combining all of your unique knowledge together, learning how to create meaningful products catered to the user and how to put it out there in the real world.

Besides having a proactive and engaged I-Tech community, we also have a wonderful study association called Proto, that contributes to the I-Tech community by organising fun activities such as game nights, parties, and scavenger hunts, but also more serious events like lunch lectures, workshops, and module evaluations. Proto additionally provides a discount on your books and a nice association room to just chill in with friends. The association is run by and for students and has over 600 members!
