HMI’s Campusrobot present during opening Gallery

The campusrobot was introduced to the public during the opening of the Gallery. This new building was officialy opened by His Majesty King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands. Albeit the robot had no role during the official part the various media covered the introduction of this new “inhabitant” of the campus.

After the official opening, His Majesty King Willem Alexander was introduced by Daphne Karreman as she explained the purpose of this robot.

The campusrobot is developed as part of the EU FP7 project FROG (Fun Robotic Outdoor Guide). The team responsible for this demo was composed of both HMI and RAM ( staff, including Vanessa Evers (HMI), Stefano Stramigioli (RAM), Daphne Karreman (HMI), Michiel Joosse (HMI), Lynn Packwood (HMI) Maarten Bezemer (RAM), Jan Jaap Kempenaar (RAM), and João Freire (IDMind).
