Alejandro Catalá, PhD (2012, Universitat Politécnica de València – UPV), MSc (2008, UPV), Ing. (2006,UPV) is now with Human Media Interaction to work in the research project coBOTnity, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under a the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant. He has served as a postdoc researcher at the LoUISE research group of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), and the ISSI group of the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (UPV). His current research interests include learning and entertainment interactive and collaborative systems, especially with surfaces involved. Other topics of interests are bioinspired metaheuristics applied to optimization problems, vibrotactile interfaces applied to surfaces and tracking technology.
