MOBaaS Demo at IEEE CLOUDNET 2015

On 5th of October 2015, the MCN project was present at IEEE CLOUDNET 2015 in Niagara Falls , Canada.

Morteza Karimzadeh (University of Twente) and Zhongliang Zhao (University of Bern) had the MOBaaS demo presentation in this conference. This work were a joint research between University of Bern, University of Twente and Fraunhofer institute.

They demoed the MOBaaS on MCN’s cloud platform, which can be instantiated, deployed, and disposed on-demand.

The MOBaaS architecture comprising two algorithms intended to predict user(s) mobility and network link bandwidth availability, that can be implemented in a cloud-based mobile network structure and can be used as a support service by any other virtualized mobile network service [1],[2].
