IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE Twente UNIVERSITY FUND'S OBJECTIVES AND WANT TO HAVE A SAY ABOUT THE WAY IN WHICH YOUR DONATION IS SPENT, A NAMED FUND COULD BE OF INTEREST TO YOU.
A Named Fund in the Twente University Fund offers you every opportunity to provide guidance for your donation, without burdening you with any of the administrative hassle involved in having your own foundation.
A Named Fund is a donation to The Twente University Fund that has a specific mission. Provided it is consistent with the Twente University Fund's objectives you can choose the Named Fund's name and objective. This allows you to have a say in how your contribution is spent.
You can opt for your contribution to benefit specific research, education or, for example, sport and culture on campus.
Your donation remains identifiable in our Fund. You can choose to link it to your name or establish the fund under a different name. Lastly, you can also remain completely anonymous if this is your preference.
The minimum investment for a Named Fund is 10,000 euro.
The tax rules that apply to a Named Fund do not differ from those that apply to a regular donation. A one-off donation is tax deductible if the amount is between 1 and 10% of the threshold income. A periodic donation is always tax deductible. For more information about the tax aspects involved in your donation please visit this page.
Setting up a Named Fund always involves customisation. We would be delighted to discuss with you how we can fulfil your wishes. You can set up a Named Fund during your lifetime as well as after your death by including the creation of a Named Fund in your will.
