We believe students can change the world.
University Innovation Fellows (UIF) is a global programme that empowers students to become leaders of innovation and change within their universities. Through training, collaboration, and a worldwide community of peers and educators, Fellows develop the skills and confidence to improve learning experiences, strengthen innovation ecosystems, and create meaningful impact on campus.
UIF brings together students, educators, and institutions who believe that higher education can be more innovative, inclusive, entrepreneurial, and responsive to the challenges of tomorrow. Fellows identify opportunities for improvement, work with stakeholders across their institutions, and turn ideas into action through projects that benefit their communities.
Since its launch, UIF has connected thousands of students and educators from universities around the world, creating a growing network of changemakers dedicated to shaping the future of higher education.
Since 2025, the programme is led by the University of Twente, building on the strong foundation established at Stanford University. We are deeply grateful to former Co-Directors Leticia Britos Cavagnaro and Humera Fasihuddin for their exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to the programme. Their work has inspired generations of Fellows and continues to influence UIF as they remain valued supporters of the community.
Whether you are a student looking to make an impact, an educator seeking to empower student leadership, or an institution interested in fostering innovation, UIF offers opportunities to learn, connect, and create change together.
