Twente Smart Logistics & Transport Solutions

Welcome to Twente Smart Logistics & Transport Solutions (TSLOTS), a multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder network responding to challenges in transport, mobility, and logistics.

Born as a bottom-up initiative at the University of Twente, TSLOTS integrates perspectives from students, researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers. We do not replace existing research groups; we aim to connect them. By addressing scattered research and hidden resources, we maximize the use of shared knowledge and infrastructure in a collaborative community.

To bring our mission to life, we focus on three main areas:

• Community & Collaboration: Building a connected network to forge partnerships with Dutch and European organizations and stakeholders.
• Visibility & Impact: Giving stakeholders a clear view of the network's expertise to initiate and support R&D projects that inspire, ideate, and implement. We actively contribute to the latest and greatest in transport, logistics, and mobility research. 
• Shared Infrastructure & Knowledge: Consolidating digital and academic resources so they are easily accessible to all partners, while preparing future employees for their careers through industry-driven education.

Our activities are designed to foster connection, growth, and innovation within our network:

• Workshops, Events, and Webinars: Practical sessions covering a wide variety and multi-disciplinary range of topics, both online and offline.
• Educational Activities: Organizing company visits and life-long learning courses, and faciliate student exchanges and in-company internships.
• Keeping each other up-to-date: Proactive communication via newslettes to inform about recent developments by the community, for the community.
